Terms of Use for EWA Accelerator

User Conduct

In addition to any applicable guidelines or policies that may govern specific components of the Site, you agree to comply with the following conditions in using the Site. You are solely responsible for all content that you upload, post, publish, or display via the Site. The following are examples of the kind of content and/or use that is illegal or prohibited by EWA Accelerator. EWA Accelerator reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in EWA Accelerator’s sole discretion, violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending content, suspending or terminating the account, and reporting the user to law enforcement authorities.

You agree not to use the Site to:

Email or otherwise upload content that infringes on intellectual property or other proprietary rights, contains viruses or malicious code, poses a privacy or security risk, or violates any laws.
Engage in unauthorized solicitation or commercial activities such as spam, junk mail, pyramid schemes, or contests without approval.
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
Collect email addresses or other contact information for unsolicited emails or communications.
Violate any applicable law, or disrupt the Site or its related services.

Communication Tools

EWA Accelerator utilizes tools such as Notion, Discord, and other applications to facilitate communication, collaboration, and support throughout the program. By participating in the program, you acknowledge that these tools will be used as part of the program’s operations.

You are required to comply with GDPR regulations, and any personal data shared within these platforms will be handled in accordance with the privacy policies and data protection laws applicable to these services, as well as EWA Accelerator’s Privacy Policy.

Commercial Use

You agree not to display, distribute, license, perform, publish, or otherwise use any portion of the Site for commercial purposes, unless expressly authorized by EWA Accelerator.

Intellectual Property Rights

EWA Accelerator owns all rights to the Site, including trademarks, copyrights, and proprietary rights. You agree not to use EWA Accelerator’s intellectual property without prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Third-Party Material

EWA Accelerator is not liable for any content from third parties, including but not limited to other users or organizations. You are solely responsible for any interactions with other users, and EWA Accelerator does not endorse or control third-party content.

User Content

By uploading content, you grant EWA Accelerator and its affiliates a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to use your content for any program-related purpose, in any form, medium, or technology now known or later developed. EWA Accelerator respects your rights under GDPR and will handle your personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Investment Commitment

EWA Accelerator Founders, may offer a cash term sheet commitment to the top three startups presenting on Demo Day. This commitment will be considered a soft commitment, and the investment will only proceed if the final terms, as agreed upon between EWA Accelerator Founders and the startup, are met.

Data Privacy and GDPR Compliance

EWA Accelerator complies with data protection laws applicable to the UAE and the EU. We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Site and participating in the program, you consent to the processing of your personal data.

Indemnity and Release

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EWA Accelerator from any losses, damages, or claims resulting from your use of the Site, any violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. EWA Accelerator makes no warranties regarding the Site’s availability, accuracy, or reliability.

Limitation of Liability

EWA Accelerator’s liability for any damages is limited to $100, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

EWA Accelerator may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Site if it believes you have violated these Terms of Use. Termination will not affect EWA Accelerator’s rights to your User Content.

User Disputes

You agree to handle any disputes directly with other users. EWA Accelerator is not liable for any disputes between users.

General

These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and EWA Accelerator. They are governed by the laws of Belgium, and any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Belgium courts.
